Why this and not a funnel
Five to twenty five people who came back beats a thousand who looked once.
Fields 1 and 6 come from April Dunford’s positioning framework in Obviously Awesome: who cares a lot, and what your competitive alternatives really are. At this size you can name every single user. That is the point: you can talk to all of them, and what they tell you is worth more than any dashboard.
The seven questions
Real names and real places you can reach this week. Not a segment, not a persona. Dunford’s test: who would be annoyed if this disappeared?
Maya’s exampleHer art teacher, two friends who draw, the cafe her family knows, six local venues on her list.
The rooms, group chats and feeds they are in without you.

One sentence, sent as you, not as a brand.
Maya’s example“Can I show you my profile and put one piece on your wall?”
What they have to do for it to be real. The same one action you built.
Maya’s exampleSend a pitch to a venue and get a reply.
Recurring, not once. The reason for a second visit.
Maya’s exampleA reply landing, and new places added to the list.
Their real alternatives today, including doing nothing. If they do not switch, this is what beat you.
Maya’s exampleDM venues herself, ask a teacher to pass it on, or never ask at all.
Start at the outcome you want and divide back. Every number is derived from the one above it, so you know what to go do today.
Maya’s example2 people back a second time ← 5 replies ← 10 pitches sent ← 20 people asked.
